//// What the hell, Radics, have you been drinking?
Ehh, you bet I did! Whats up?
//// The anual press conference of the team was scheduled last week
Ah right, yeah, couldn’t help that I was out with my boys Otto van Loen, Nestor Roels and Berti Giffurt. Well, here I am, right?
//// Rules? What kind of rules? Bertje Who?
*Sigh*… never mind
//// Well Radics, first of all congratulations on a great season…
Yeah, well thanks… I suppose…
//// What’s the matter, Radics? Feeling unwell.
Well, nothing, it’s just that I am a bit unsettled after last season’s edition of this event.
Anyhow, yes we are pleased. We made good progress, joined Top Division for a brief while, won a new jersey, won races with a lot of different riders and scored points with even more. We broke all our records this season. We had a lot of transfers during the end of the season, promoted some riders to be trainers and hired some very promissing youth from own soil and have two other riders joining us over the season. All-in-all, we enjoy life at Silenzio
//// Yes, again congratulations. Actually we don’t have any questions.
You don’t? That’s so unfair.
//// Call it unfair, but success is boring for us. We will speak to you again when your new set of youngsters fails to impress and you will drop down to the divisions where you belong
How about a story about the first win by Twan Fokkens, a disappointed George Neacsu after missing the win in Classico di Siracusa by the skin of a teeth, an emotional goodbye from Driscoll Tiernan after winning a stage in Australia, an overjoyed Nordin Moerenhout who won a classification while he still never has won a race. How about a disgusted Tijmen Van Lieshout who was only beaten by a sprinter in Perm Parade who shouldn’t have been in third division, and therefore missed out on that precious jersey? What about our turtle-Spaniard Teo Fonseca who scored two top9s in Nederlandse Tour.
//// Mehh…
Piss off.
Radics Nandor out
